This is a one valve [tube] radio that believe it or not I constructed 48 years ago. It remained lost but was discovered again during a recent house move. The valve used is a battery R.F. pentode dating from around 1948 on a B7G base. The type number is DF91 or the American equivalent, the 1T4....

This video shows how to install a NMO type antenna mount..It was mounted on a 2009 Ford F-150 pickup truck at Kcomm the ham radio store in San Antonio, Tx..I aquired my brother Tim KE5CFZ to help me.. The NMO mount requires a 3/4" hole which was drilled thru the roof just in front of the cargo...
